QotD: Lesson Learned
Tell us about a lesson you had to learn the hard way.
If someone is nasty to the hired help, he or she is not a nice person. Honest. No matter how rich they are or how nice they are to you.
And they get more spit in their meals than you do!
That was the easy lesson.
The hard one is - even if someone is nice to the hired help and to you they can still not be a nice person: you just haven't discovered it yet.
Best friend of many years taught me that one in a bad, bad way, back in the days of my youth.
