Snatch of Life

Where did your interest in dance music come from? Do your kids like it too or are you on your own? As for me, I'm pretty much the only one at home that listens to Trance (dance) music. Diana likes Maroon 5 and other Pop/R&B on the radio. I'm sure that it stems back to when my mother would listen to disco stuff. Trance music is a passion of mine and I listen to it any chance that I can although sometimes I'll turn on some classical or alternative rock depending on the mood.

That's some ruch sound swirling about your house while you (ahem) tinkle.
Angelo first introduced me to dance, when I was in my early forties, or thereabouts. At first I was not keen - too repetitive, too samey-sounding. Not helped by the fact the first album he gave me to listen to was Dreamland by Robert Miles - even today, with a love of dance (particularly trance) I still find this tedious. Then the children got a little older and we went to a few clubs, and a few gigs and became hooked. I still have lots of other shit on iTunes, but I listen to dance for preference.
My house too is a cacophonous and mangled mix of music tastes (two teens and a 20-year-old). I am lucky if I get to add my two cents.
