Vox Hunt: Small Screen Crush

Still.  When I think of Avon, he is still young and leather clad, and so am I. 

And, for those of you who don't know what Blake's 7 is, here are a few clips, gleaned from the vastness that is YouTube.

And finally, a music video featuring lots and lots of clips of Kerr Avon being - well, Kerr Avon.  Sexy.  Avon was the Bad Boy You Wanted to Change.  The Cold as Ice exterior that you wanted to get to the warm heart of.  Unattainable. 

I watched every episode.  I have been a sci-fi fan most of my life (since I was 8, that's a hell of a chunk of life when you have attained more than 50 years of living!) and this, though cheesy, managed to fulfil some fantasies and organise my daydreams for years.  Sometimes I still daydream about being 25, on the Liberator with Avon and living happily, if in dangerous times, ever after.

Sad.  But true.
