Struggling to choose just one of the (very many) songs mentioning colour.  I decided to post the video of this - it was how I first came across it and I find it very funny.  Great bouncy track too.

Teaching kids spelling rules, that's gotta count, right?

These were written for the children's programme The Electric Company.

All the best horror films were Hammer Horror.  Cheap and cheesy, and quintessentially English. 

But, cos Pink Speakers do not float my boat, and because until today I had never seen the video, here is Kate Bush performing Hammer Horror.

Then, I thought At Night by Shakedown.  Again, another song where the video is needed to explain the choice.

And I am cursing my bloody computer for losing my Rocky Horror soundtrack...  sob.

Unfortunately, I only have this on my PC as a rip from the original album, and Vox does not let anyone post a track that long!

A track from the film, The Matrix,  I bought this track three times - count em, folks, three times - before I managed to get the track I wanted.  I bought a CD called The Matrix Reloaded.  It would have been OK if I had seen it on Amazon first, but the one I bought in a bloody shop did not say it was only the Instrumental version.  And I wanted the lyrics.

So then I bought, from eBay, a disc purporting to contain the track with lyrics.  Pshaw and fuck off, ebay seller who sold me a cheap rip CD which did not read, and never refunded my money. 

So then I finally got the Rob Dougan Furious Angels album (see artwork).  This is a two-disc CD, with lyrics and instrumental versions.  It cost approximately £15.99, and I only like three tracks - count 'em, three - off the whole bloody set.

Grr.

So, now I am sharing one of the songs that has me running to turn up the volume whenever I hear it. 

And, even though I think the instrumental version is really a waste of space, I might have to recant that, having seen this video on YouTube.

I hope he's not gone for a long time...

Cos we will miss him.  Maybe even this much...
